I’m not the problem, the teacher is too mean.

I’m not the problem, the crowd is too judgemental.

I’m not the problem, the preparation time was too short.

I’m not the problem, the curriculum is too stringent.

I’m not the problem, the application process is unintuitive.

I’m not the problem, the courses are tough for anyone to balance.

I’m not the problem, this is a temporary setback, and when I’m back, I’ll show them all.

I’m not the problem, there’s nobody left who cares, nobody even knows the problem was there, either to encourage me or mock me.

I’m not the problem, there is no I, there’s nothing left of me except unsatisfying excuses and post-hoc explanations.

A creature which was once me walks with a body that was once mine, speaks with a voice that sounded just like I sounded like.

I’m the problem.
