They called him Snack the Ripper. All the CCTV footage suggested he was an unusually short man, but not afflicted with dwarfism or anything. Despite his distinctive height nobody had a good view of his face or recognized him. Even his gender was assumed, simply based on the fact that he was a serial killer.

The readers of the Times would buy all this stuff. But not Luke. As he scrolled through the digital article, his eyes widened.
